Ashford Cattle Market – Carcass Auction, December 2011
The annual Christmas Cattle Market in Ashford took place on a very chilly December evening… winter eventually arrived! The Young Farmers were showing off their live stock, local farmers were selling their autumn fruits around the cafe (The Stock Pot) and carcasses were judges, rosettes awarded before being auctioned off.
The film covers the auction and the ‘buying’ public. Great prices were achieved… who said there was a recession!

Andy’s film captures the drama of a live auction. The creativity of this piece resulted in our commissioning Andy to create a short video for our website which demonstrates to auction ‘first timers’ just how easy it is to sell a car by auction. This will be released on our website during the autumn of 2012.
The annual Christmas Show takes place on Monday 3rd December 2012. All members of the public are welcome to attend this traditional annual show.
